Spoleto is a beautiful old town with Roman and medieval monuments of the highest interest. Many of the old streets are still cobbled, and in some of them charming details such as the old streets lanterns and shop fronts have been retained. A famous music and drama Festival dei Due Mondi is held here in June and July, in August there is Estate Spoletina, and in September the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale. It's possible to do trekking, rafting, byke tours, horses.
