More than any Umbrian city, Spoleto has a remarkable past; after its prominence in classical times, Spoleto became the seat of one of the most powerful states in Italy at the very beginning of the Middle Ages.

The Villa is situated in an absolutely quiet location, in the country of Tordandrea di Assisi, only 3 miles from the historic centre of Assisi: from the villa you can enjoy a great view of Assisi.

Florenzuola is an elegant villa superbly restored in the Assisi country, built using ancient bricks, hand made cotto and rose stones of the Monte Subasio. The view of Assisi from the villa is absolutely fabulous. It has 3 double bedrooms, 2 twin beds, 4 bathrooms, living-room and sitting-room, kitchen, big tavern, laundry and ironing room.

At the beginning of 1700 a Roman family, related with the great architect Lorenzo Bernini, moved to Bevagna and let restore as its residence a complex propriety, constituted by an elegant palace of 1600, overlooking the remains of a roman temple and of a theatre of the I Century a.d., over which were first built small fourteenth century habitations, then, in 1500, raised up the noble residence of an important family from Bevagna.

The farmhouse, dating from 1800, has been recently restrucutured to combine tradition, comfort and elegance. Umbria has always been a crossroads of art, religion and culture, which we wanted to blend together in the style of the apartments and the care of the spacious outdoor area - 1 acre garden, swimming pool with hydromassage showe, barbeque, wood burning oven, children playground.
